Today I worked in PhotoShop with the lynda videos. I worked on whitening teeth in a pic. Here is that.

 

 

 

Then I worked on How to clean up a smartphone photo since almost all of my pics are on a smartphone however I don’t think I will be able to clean them up because in my opinion this pic looked better before I cleaned it up.

 

 

 

Then during the afternoon I watched lynda videos on Illustrator. There are so many steps to Illustrator it is gonna be awesome if I ever figure it out but I am not real convinced I will be able to figure it out. Was thinking about and praying for you and yours today.

I might be out of my league.

I have nothing to show for my work today. I am so lost it is kind of scary. I am not being able to retain anything or if I feel like I  did retain it and I try to do it again by myself I can’t get it to work out. This afternoon we were without internet for about an hour so I worked in Photoshop trying to apply the things I thought I had learned already and nothing was working out the way I thought it should. Im sorry for all the negetive posts this week. I really hope I come in on Monday with a whole new attitude. And maybe find my brain as well. Hope everything went ok with the doc and I will be praying for you and yours on Monday.

 

Ok after whining  I gave it another shot. I was trying to do the same thing I did yesterday with removing Lola from the picture and putting her on a white background here is what it looked like when I tried again. I just need to be more patient and realize It takes me longer to retain things.  I wish there was a way I could work more with photoshop outside of school.

I’m thinking that Graphic design might not be the best idea for me. I can’t retain anything. I am watching the videos most of the videos are taking me thirty minutes at least to be able to do what they are doing. The frustrating thing is I think I figured it out I move on and then it’s like ok what did I just do? I can’t remember any of the steps I just learned. I am sure this will pass and eventually I will figure it out it is just frustrating at this time lol.

I did this pic on creating a shadow it was a 7 minute video took me over 30 mins and it doesn’t even look good. Oh well tomorrow is another day. I will get this.

Lynda videos

This morning I watched Lynda videos on Illustrator. I am easily getting frustrated because I keep missing a step here or there I do this in Photoshop as well and it just messes it all. We spent an hour this morning going over the student handbook. Then this afternoon I watched a Lynda video on removing a photo bomber.  I am going to have to work harder on not getting frustrated and just exiting out and starting all over. I have learned the command+z lol so that will help.

Today I also started on Lynda.com on Adobe Illustrator. I think if I can figure it out without getting frustrated in the since that it is so hard to focus and retain things. But if I am able to work past that I think I will enjoy Illustrator.

Today I watched some more of your podcast on Photoshop. I can’t wait to get to play with some more of Bailey’s pics. She is gonna love the things I do to them. I also can’t wait to design more t-shirts for Basketball and Track. Maybe even a Band shirt for the Football games.

8/19/2015 First Day

I can’t believe it has been 4 months since my last blog. This summer went by so fast and so many things have happened. First and and most exciting My Brain Tumor is gone. I still have to take the gross medicine as a preventive but it is gone!! This summer Bailey and I were very fortunate to get to do a lot of things. We got to go to Frontier City and White Water Bay almost every week. 2 weeks ago we went to Missouri some where about an hour or so away from Springfield. One of the things we got to do was drive over 2 swinging bridges. I was not a very big fan of that lol. We also went to a place called Ha Ha Tonka. It was so neat. I have tons of pics but I can’t save them from Facebook for some reason. There was all kinds of things to look at like a running spring that had a whole bunch of otters and beavers. There was also ruins of a castle. Most people drive around to see the castle from the springs. Bailey and I hiked the almost 2 miles to see it. I could not believe we were do it it was a little hard but once we got done it was so worth it. She told me Mom just 2 years ago I never thought I would get to do something like this with you. Made my Mom heart melt. I have also become very active in my Church and a group called Celebrate Recovery these have turned my life around so much for the better. I have also started helping my Mom with her quilting Store Ladybugs Quilting and More in Cherokee. I started learning how to quilt in June I am a slow learner lol it is probably gonna take years for me to finish one quilt. I am so excited to get started on the graphic Design stuff.
